Dance Class at LifeSong is a load of fun! We have the pleasure of offering a well-rounded dance experience for all ladies involved through the learning of both ballet and aerobic styles. This varied exposure allows our dancers to experience the rhythm and flow of dance through differing tempos as well as differing types of movement. The ballet side of things is graceful and flowing while the aerobic side of things tends to be a lot more focused on learning fast-paced rhythm. In our class we also work on proper stretching techniques and the importance of hydration throughout any kind of exercise.
We are blessed to work the Kings Dancers Dance Studio who provide the LifeSong Dancers an opportunity to take part in a dance recital at a local school each summer. The Ladies get to dress up in costume and share their talents and hard work with a large audience from the stage. We also perform a ballet routine at the annual LifeSong Christmas Extravaganza.
Our Dance Recital

"On June 18th, 2016 the LifeSong Dancers took part in our dance recital. We started practicing for the show in Decenber. We danced so beautifully that everyone cheered and applauded for us! We took our bows and walked off stage. It was my first dance recital. For aerobics we danced to, "Shake" by Mercy Me and for ballet we did, "Mary did You Know". I really liked the "Shake" routine. We had purple dresses and silver pompoms. The pompoms really stood out. We worked really hard on both routines! We look forward to dancing in the show next year!"
