Supplemental Day Habilitation

Throughout the year, LifeSong provides various Supplemental Habilitation opportunities for evening and weekend outings for our people to participate in.  Through time spent with participants along with personal requests, we learn what types of things individuals would like to do and we schedule and plan activities around them.

We offer a wide variety of activities quarterly for individuals to participate in including a mix of shows, concerts, sporting events & other special interests.  Announcements of activities will be emailed to those enrolled in our program and will be posted on our website for convenience as well.  Signed permission slips are required for participation.  The number of tickets that are available to any given event may vary as these activities are dependent upon staff availability.  Tickets will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.  We rarely require participation fees but occassionaly, on high ticket items, we must in order to provide the activity.

A couple of our supplemental activities are offered annually with great enthusiasm and participation.  Each year we rent a wade tour bus and plan a trip to NYC to see a Yankees game.  There is a participation fee of $30 associated with the Yankees trip to help cover the tota costs of the trip. Towards the end of the summer we rent cottages and offer a boys week and a girls week of camping at Sacandaga Lake.  More information about camping can be found on our Sacandage page.
