ADMINISTRATION
Philip leads and directs LifeSong Inc. that he founded in 2010 to provide quality Community-Based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In doing so, he is a community advocate who engages local and state officials for effecting change and leads the way for service opportunities for not only LifeSong, but also the entire field of disability services. He represents several agencies in the state through his involvement with provider associations where he assists in shaping service provisions and expectations while forging the future of disability services in New York State.
Jill is responsible for all of LifeSong’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, corporate finance, policy development and risk management. She also oversees and manages human resources and facilities activities. Her career spans more than 20 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy. She considers it a great privilege to work with such and amazing team that is genuinely united in our Mission, Vision and Goals to serve the people we care so much about.
Scott, our Director of Day Services, is exceptional! Our community-based, Day Habilitation Program and our Employment Services program are ever changing and require a great deal of organization and flexibility. Scott does an amazing job at keeping our programs running smoothly by uniting our great team, developing marketing tools and communicating with participants and families. He network of professionals, manages the day to day occurrences, and maintains a steady, patient, positive attitude.
Mark serves as the manager of our Day Habilitation program and also acts as a Life Skills Coach. He played a crucial role in establishing both our music program and LifeSong’s recording studio. Mark expertly oversees the daily operations of our Day Habilitation groups in the community and manages the fleet of LifeSong vehicles that are on the road daily. His commitment to excellence and his ability to inspire our staff to achieve their best make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Sue Olszewski not only strives to make a person-centered schedule, but is available for any safety or health related issues as our agency’s Program RN. With LifeSong from the beginning in May of 2011, “Mama Sue,” as endearingly known by many, has grown with the company. Being most dedicated to scheduling quality services for individuals, she takes responsibility for knowing each person’s likes, dislikes, requests, goals, safeguards, availability, and more. Rallying this information for approximately 100 people at any given time, she applies this knowledge to schedule roughly 70 different volunteer opportunities weekly among skill-building and recreational activities. Sue continues to earn the respect and awe from anyone who truly understands how well she makes our Group Day Habilitation Program run!
Jocelyn, our Manager of Employment Services, oversees all aspects of our Employment Department, as well a team of highly educated Employment Specialists. Jocelyn believes that individuals should be seen for their unique strengths, abilities, and desire to work, rather than their disabilities. You can also find Jocelyn in the community, speaking with businesses across the Capital Region to ensure our individuals and Employment Specialists are meeting the standards set by each.
Darren, LifeSong’s Manager of Clinical Services, serves our participants and their families with compassion and concern. With a lengthy background in counseling and senior care, plus having a family member with developmental disabilities, Darren has a passion to help others live to the fullest despite their challenges. His affable humor and kind demeanor has endeared Darren to the people we support as a Life Skills Coach and now in his role as a manager.
Jon is a highly skilled, well-rounded Finance Manager who works with Executive Management to achieve the overall financial health of LifeSong, Inc. He oversees areas of finance and the administration of payroll, benefits, and A/P, A/R, while maintaining the general ledger. He regularly provides strategic analysis for Executive Management to determine overall corporate objectives. Jon has a great attention to detail and is our in-house Excel expert. Self-motivated, trustworthy and honest, he is a true asset to LifeSong.
Dennis Hulett, a seasoned Compliance Officer, is recognized for his expertise in ensuring regulatory adherence and ethical business practices. His specialty lies in crafting and implementing robust compliance strategies across the organization. With a focus on fostering integrity and mitigating risks, Dennis navigates complex regulatory landscapes adeptly. Holding certification in healthcare compliance, his commitment to upholding standards ensures organizational excellence, driving sustained compliance and trust within LifeSong.
